Sanitary Cove Base System in PVC — CoRound
The CoRound sanitary cove base system comes in two lines of PVC profiles, CoRound Seal and CoRound Basic, and works with the other CoRound PVC profiles. The CoR Skirt sanitary base runs along the floor-to-wall juncture. The CoR 4 cove base runs along the wall-to-wall and wall-to-ceiling junctures. The profiles are lead-free PVC: a rigid body with flexible lips that adapt to insulated panels and drywall.
What Is a Sanitary Cove Base System For?
The CoRound sanitary cove base system is for places that demand high levels of cleanliness and food safety. It covers the junctions where the floor meets the walls, and where walls meet each other and the ceiling. The CoR Skirt sanitary base keeps dirt from collecting at the floor-to-wall juncture. Internal and external corner pieces fit the angles and corners, and keep bacteria from building up there.
The profiles have curved, smooth surfaces that keep residue from building up in corners and joints, for easy daily cleaning. The PVC resists chemicals, moisture, impact and changes in temperature, and its surface is non-porous. The profiles withstand operating temperatures from -4°F to +140°F (-20°C to +60°C). That makes them suitable for cold and humid environments, and for areas cleaned often with non-abrasive detergents.
CoRound is designed for walk-in coolers and freezers, commercial kitchens, food processing plants, cleanrooms and pharmaceutical facilities, and industrial facilities.
CoRound Systems
CoRound Seal and CoRound Basic are the two sanitary PVC systems. Both work with the other CoRound PVC profiles and accessories, such as channels, angles and curbs.
